I have been in other monthly swaps before, and have really enjoyed them. How else can you get a steady stream of new ideas each month? Amount: 10+1 or 15+1
Must arrive by: The last Thursday of each month. Anything arriving after this day will be held for the following month.
Description: Anything goes -- as long as it is current SU! and demo quality. If you work better with a theme, look ahead to the coming season or holiday and use that as an idea. Most people, however, just make an extra set of whatever they are making for other swaps.
I am looking primarily for card fronts. However, I don't want to limit anyone's creativity, and the occasional non-card item is refreshing. But please keep in mind that most participants use regular sandwich baggies and 5x7 envelopes.
How this works is:
I send out reminders at the beginning of the month; please reply to the reminders to confirm your participation that month. I do need to keep track of participation, as there are many participants who send in more than one set of cards.
You may send your cards at any point during the month. I will sort on the last Thursday of each month and return no later than Saturday. Any cards that arrive after Thursday will be held for the next month's swap.
Please make sure your name and e-mail address are on the backs of the cards as a minimum. Recipes are often appreciated, especially to identify some of these new sets. In addition, how-to tips for some techniques are also appreciated.
Standard swap rules apply: protect your work in a plastic bag labeled with your name and address and include return envelope and the same postage it took to get to me plus an extra .23 stamp. Many participants in past swaps have used the same plastic bag each month and have a little envelope or baggie with the return postage inside.
